A relaxing and de-stressing weekend for those wanting to escape the pressures of their everyday lives and immerse themselves in an itinerary of Hatha yoga, meditation and spa time – specifically designed to re-centre your mind and leave you ready to face the challenges life brings.

The weekend includes:
Unlimited spa usage between classes and activities
3 90-minute yoga classes taught by Simon Cowling
1 45-minute meditation class taught by Chris Helliwell
1 silent walk led by Simon Cowling
1 silent walk with meditation led by Chris Helliwell
2 nights accommodation at The Morritt

Over the course of three days professional teachers, Simon Cowling and Chris Helliwell, will guide guests through the fundamental teachings of Hatha yoga and Tibetan tradition meditation, arming them with tools to help deal with whatever life throws at them after the trip.

Cowling, who trained at the Sivananda Yoga Centre in India and has also been a holistic therapist for ten years will be holding three yoga classes. During these he will work around the 12 key postures that strengthen bones and muscle, and improve well-being, balance and state of mind.

Simon explained: “This weekend isn’t about turning people into yoga and meditation experts it’s about providing them with an understanding and simple techniques they can use at home to help make them feel healthier and happier about themselves.”

Helliwell, who has been practicing meditation for 18 years and trained for 8, will be guiding guests through Tibetan methods of sitting and concentrating to control their thoughts and increase their tolerance and patience. Ideal for those wanting to be able to switch off after work and not think or worry about what has happened during the day.

people to techniques to help them focus and combat stress which can be applied to everyday
life and the longer they practice them the greater the results.”
